The City of Rocklin homepage at www.rocklin.ca.us has been redesigned to provide better improved access to the information used most by Rocklin residents, businesses and stakeholders.

The changes include a new “Get Started” menu at the top of the page, a streamlined “What’s Happening” news and events section, and more.

A detailed analysis of how web visitors interacted with the current homepage was conducted and update decisions were based on the data collected.

Improving information access on the Rocklin homepage is part of Rocklin’s recently completed strategic communications plan, which is summarized in this online presentation and can be reviewed in full below.

The plan was completed in Jan. 2020 and outlines strategies, best practices and tactics to help streamline messaging, expand opportunities for businesses and residents to receive City communications, continue to drive positive Rocklin stories, optimize partnership relations, leverage citywide advertising opportunities and utilize social media to amplify messages.
